Five East Lothian producers win top awards at 'Oscars of the food world'

Brose Oats received three stars for its original gluten-free Scottish oat milk, while Belhaven Smokehouse was recognised for its smoked butter.

Emma Bouglet, business manager of East Lothian Food & Drink, said that the accolades reinforced the county's reputation for "outstanding" businesses, of which they could not be "prouder".
"We know we have an exceptional food and drink sector, but to see five local businesses recognised with the highest award at the Great Taste Awards is something truly special.
North Berwick Harbour Market also returns this weekend, with Belhaven Smokehouse and Dodger Jam among the stallholders.
