I had long entertained the idea that I would one day round-robin streaming video services, moving from one to the other on a monthly basis. The Netflix service we know today started humbly, as an add-on to the DVD business, and the quality of its video library was sub-bargain bin. Between Apple TV+, YouTube, and massive collections of previously ripped DVDs and purchased digital movies and TV shows across multiple services, I’m good. As with reading books (and listening to audiobooks), we watch most movies and TV shows just once. There are movies and some TV shows I’ve watched repeatedly, like the Star Wars and James Bond movies and others.
