Oliver Wood, acclaimed frontman and founding member of The Wood Brothers, has announced five solo shows across the Northeast this September. The run begins September 25 at Hollerhorn Distilling in Naples, New York, before continuing through Saratoga Springs, Arundel, Exeter, and Northampton. Ric Robertson will provide direct support at all five shows. Before the Northeast run, Wood will appear September 12 at the Grassroots & Nudie Suits Festival at Harken Hall in Nashville on a bill featuring Lola Kirke and Carlene Carter. Fresh off The Wood Brothers’ extensive summer tour, Wood will turn his attention to material from his two solo albums, 2021’s Always Smilin’ and 2024’s Fat Cat Silhouette, along with select renditions of songs that reflect his love of mid-20th-century country blues.
