You can finally watch Netflix content in 4K resolution through the Google Chrome browser, but it only works on one platform. Netflix in particular has lacked support for 4K streaming through the web except in some select methods, but that’s now expanding to Google Chrome. In an update to a support page (via FlatPanelsHD), Netflix confirms that it now supports 4K playback via Google Chrome. However, Netflix 4K playback is only available through Google Chrome on Windows 11, assuming your machine is compatible, and Chromebooks. Microsoft Edge on Windows and Safari on macOS also support streaming Netflix 4K via the web.
