According to Law Commentary, Judge Leonie M. Brinkema found that the platform's terms and conditions contain a binding arbitration clause. The ruling came in a case filed at the end of 2025 by a group of Stake users seeking to represent a nationwide class. Brinkema froze all class action claims brought against the rapper and other defendants while arbitration proceeds. Another lawsuit last year accused one particular streaming platform of turning a blind eye to the problem, though the musician was neither named as a defendant nor accused of wrongdoing.
