(Ruby Duncan/ The Bulletin)Families and community members gathered at Centennial Park in Redmond Tuesday night alongside members of the Redmond Police Department to celebrate National Night Out, an event that brings police officers and the community together to get to know one another and recognize the efforts of local law enforcement. This year marked the department’s 9th anniversary of National Night Out. At National Night Out, Aaron danced along to songs by Precious Byrd, and made friends with officers and other kids. He said he’s incredibly grateful for the efforts Redmond Police have made to make Aaron feel special.
