Additionally, the August update includes four new manufacturers with a combined manufacturing capacity of 1,638MW. SLR Solar added 1,020MW of manufacturing capacity from its facility in Kishangarh, Rajasthan. SAEL Solar P6 added 2,694MW, while Credence Solar Panels increased its listed capacity by 1,796MW. The August revision follows the previous ALMM update issued on 6 July 2026, when MNRE added 10,494MW of module manufacturing capacity, increasing the total listed capacity to 204,383MW. That revision also marked the first inclusion of heterojunction (HJT) solar cell technology after Reliance Industries secured 1.2GW of enlisted manufacturing capacity.
