The club will host a season opening day at Fort Matilda on Saturday, August 8, with a family-friendly event and pre-season rugby fixtures. Both the men’s and women’s teams will take on Lenzie, with the 1XV match kicking off at 1.30pm and the women’s game following at 3pm. The event will also feature a visit from a fire engine, and a live DJ will provide entertainment from 4pm. The launch day is open to all — players, members, supporters, and anyone curious about the club. Greenock Wanderers described the event as an opportunity to enjoy two matches, a season opening party and a full day of rugby and family fun.
