Paccar is recalling thousands of new Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks after discovering an electrical issue that could potentially shut down some critical components. According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents, the recall affects nearly 6,000 Paccar trucks of various models. Although thousands of trucks are part of the recall, Paccar estimates very few actually have the defect. Paccar trucks that are part of the recall should have their power distribution center box serial numbers inspected and replaced by a dealer. For questions about this recall, Peterbilt owners can call customer service at 940-591-4220.
