This places the region fifth for prescription spending in England, according to a study by Cured Pharmacy.
The study, which evaluated NHS Business Services Authority data, compared total prescription costs to the population served by each ICB.
North West London recorded the lowest prescription spending per person, at just £115.74.
These include North West, South East, South West, North Central, and North East London, with per-person averages ranging from £115.74 to £126.24.
Higher per-person spending may be influenced by the types of medication prescribed or underlying health trends in the region.
