Last Friday, Cheshire Police conducted a joint operation including the Foreign National Offender Team, Warrington North Beat Team, and HMRC. This was carried out on Densham Avenue in Longford. Officers initially confirmed that a large quantity of illegal cigarettes were seized, along with two vehicles for being used in crime. A Cheshire Police spokesperson has since confirmed that almost £24,000 worth of cigarettes were seized. They added that HMRC were responsible for seizing the vehicles.
