An official winding-up order notice has been published on The Gazette, the UK’s official public record, for Patten Arms Hotel Ltd. A winding-up order is made by the court after a creditor or another authorised party has presented a winding-up petition and a judge is satisfied that the company cannot pay its debts. A Petition to wind up Patten Arms Hotel Ltd was presented on June 5 by Npower Commercial Gas Ltd, claiming to be a creditor of the company. According to Companies House, the UK’s official registrar of companies, Patten Arms Hotel Ltd accounts up to August 31, 2025, are overdue, having been due by May 15, 2026. A first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off is also due to be uploaded within days.
