Chart-topping Earlestown rockers The K’s land major Blackburn gig

The band will perform in Blackburn on Saturday, September 26, making them the first band to take the stage at the historic venue since its £13.5 million refurbishment.
The reopening marks the most significant investment in the Grade II-listed venue since it first opened more than a century ago.
"King George's Hall has an incredible history and it's a real honour to be the first band back on stage after its transformation.
Councillor Phil Riley, leader of Blackburn with Darwen Council, said: "We’re hugely excited to be announcing that The K’s will headline the grand reopening of King George’s Hall this September.
Councillor Riley said: "King George's Hall has benefitted from £13.5 million of investment – the most significant investment the historic venue has seen since it first opened its doors.
