The AI Teaching and Learning Symposium on Aug. 10 will bring together educators and innovators to explore practical, ethical and equitable ways to integrate artificial intelligence into higher education course design and instruction. “This AI Teaching Symposium will bring in the faculty voice, providing space for a real and sometimes hard dialogue as faculty and their students engage with AI in teaching and learning environments,” explained Sue Doe, executive director of TILT. AI competency, AI literacyThe symposium will start with breakfast at 8 a.m. and formal remarks at 9 a.m., in the LSC Theater. The symposium will also feature a CSU faculty panel on AI integration in higher education and interactive engagement stations, which are three- to five-minute demonstrations of real-world teaching strategies, innovations, tools or techniques. “The extraordinary response to our AI Teaching and Learning Symposium is a powerful testament to the dedication of our teaching community,” said Provost and Executive Vice President Lise Youngblade.
