Hertfordshire County Council’s 20mph programme continues to grow with more residential streets, town centres, and areas around schools having consultations on the restriction. As the consultations have not yet begun, no lists of the roads to be included have been published for these areas. The council says it typically introduces limits across whole areas, rather than single streets, to keep things consistent. Following consultation, some roads may be removed from zones or zones may not proceed at all due to consultation results or a local councillor decision.
