Maria told the Watford Observer: "We know The Horns and we are passionate about The Horns. My husband is a musician and I am a chef and we wanted a pub where we could make those two things. We are passionate about bringing back the reputation from years ago and I think a lot of people can sense that." Looking ahead to the rest of the year, Maria is bullish about the impact that a new monthly comedy night will have. Maria is confident that her and Clive's stewardship will last longer than some of the false dawns of recent years.
