Sons of late Ernest Sullivan promoted to top roles at the family shipping agencySullivan Maritime has appointed Karl Sullivan, 34, as Managing Director, with his brother Nigel Sullivan, 36, joining the board as Commercial Director, the family-run firm announced on Wednesday. The leadership transition comes as the company marks its 30th anniversary and continues to mourn the loss of its founder, Ernest Sullivan, who died in April at the age of 63. Karl Sullivan has been appointed Managing Director. As Managing Director, Karl said his responsibility was to hold the company to the standards it was founded on, and to the people who had built it alongside his father. Nigel Sullivan joins the board as Commercial Director.
