Seattle-based home coffee equipment company Shelbru is launching the June, a manual pourover brewer built for temperature stability, controlled outward flow and compatibility with common accessories and brewing methods. The June’s dual-wall, vacuum-insulated stainless-steel body is intended to limit heat loss during brewing. A bulbous silicone funnel beneath the brewer, called the Aroma Flow system, centers the exiting stream, according to the company. Shelbru was founded by father-daughter team Edward and Somin Bach, who launched the company’s first product, a cold brew system, through Indiegogo in 2021. Edward Bach brought more than 30 years of technology and business experience, while Somin Bach’s background spans marketing and educational administration.
