Another Fry’s shoplifting arrest marks 4th case in a monthAnother shoplifting arrest at Fry’s Marketplace has police adding to a growing list of retail theft cases in Maricopa.
Officers arrested 47-year-old Zulema Herrera-Harper on suspicion of shoplifting and resisting arrest, according to a probable cause statement.
Fry’s staff told police Herrera-Harper spent more than two hours in the store, placing around $1,000 of merchandise in 12 reusable bags.
As officers attempted to handcuff Herrera-Harper, they said she resisted arrest by moving her hands and trying to walk away.
This marks the fourth reported shoplifting attempt and the second to occur at Fry’s Marketplace in the last month.
