The Brightlingsea Accessibility Map was showcased during the two-day Brightlingsea Free Music Festival on Hurst Green, helping visitors with additional needs access facilities and information more easily.
A dedicated area featuring accessible facilities was provided throughout the weekend and proved popular with festivalgoers.
The project was developed by physiotherapist Nicola Stephens and is a joint initiative by Brightlingsea WinterFest, supported by Brightlingsea Town Council.
Wheelchair user Connor Morris, from Brightlingsea, helped with accessibility research for the project and welcomed the initiative.
Nicola added: “Brightlingsea Free Music Festival was the first festival to take this concept on board.
