Bread of Life Community Church, based in The Brotherhood Hall, St Osyth Road, were handing out leaflets and speaking to people on Colchester High Street today. It comes after Colchester Council issued a CPN ordering the church to stop "using loudspeakers" and "intimidating behaviour." The church has taken Colchester Council to court to appeal the CPN they received in March. A two-day hearing has been set for the appeal, with the first day on October 22 at Southend Magistrates’ Court and the second day on October 29 at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court. A case management hearing is due to take place at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on August 21.
