By Telangana Today Published Date - 5 August 2026, 10:47 PMHyderabad: The Madhapur police on Wednesday busted an illegal network supplying the psychotropic drug Tramadol Hydrochloride by raiding a pharmacy in Ayyappa Society. Acting on information, the police raided Prime Pharmacy at Sai Nagar, Ayyappa Society, and arrested Thorri Venkatesham (32), owner and pharmacist of Prime Pharmacy, and Barlakadi Srikanth (32), a delivery boy. During the raid, officers seized 821 strips (6,568 tablets) of Pyeevon Spas Plus, containing approximately 328.4 grams of Tramadol Hydrochloride. Police suspect that the accused supplied the psychotropic tablets to nearly 100 to 150 customers over the past several months.
