High Tide Inc. has closed C$40 million in senior secured credit facilities with Bank of Montreal (BMO), giving the cannabis retailer additional funding for working capital, acquisitions and refinancing existing debt. High Tide also repaid and terminated its previous senior credit facility with ConnectFirst Credit Union. The new financing includes a C$25 million revolving credit facility with a three-year maturity. High Tide said the facilities are secured by substantially all of the assets belonging to the company and certain subsidiaries. High Tide operates Canna Cabana, Canada’s largest cannabis retail chain, with 229 locations in the country and one international location.
