Akron announced Tuesday it will hold an "Offensive Coordinator of the Game" promotion this season where one season-ticket holder will win the chance to help head coach Joe Moorhead script plays for the opening drive of the home opener against Robert Morris. "I'm looking forward to collaborating with the season-ticket holder who wins this contest," Moorhead said. "This will give our fans a behind-the-scenes experience that has never been done before anywhere, so I'm excited to show them how to put together the opening script and see what they can do." All season-ticket holders are automatically entered into the drawing, and those who refer new ticket buyers will receive additional entries. Akron will reveal the winner of the promotion that was designed to sell more tickets on Aug. 19.
