WWE Hall of Famer and AAA general manager Rey Mysterio announced Wednesday that a tournament will be held to determine the challenger for Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship on the Sept. 14 episode of Raw in Mexico City. Mysterio noted that luchadores from Raw, SmackDown and AAA will compete in the tourney, which is set to begin on next Monday's edition of Raw in Norfolk, Virginia. At the conclusion of this week's Raw, Reigns made his way through the curtain and encountered Mysterio, who was waiting to speak with him. That should make for a raucous and exciting atmosphere in Mexico City, as the fans figure to be entirely behind the tournament winner dethroning Reigns. Based on who was shown, Penta is another top contender in addition to the rumored El Grande Americano.
