The much-discussed pairing between Stefon Diggs and the Washington Commanders is happening. Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Commanders will sign Diggs after the two sides expressed a mutual interest in each other during recent contract talks. The Commanders had been most frequently connected to Brandon Aiyuk as they sought to fill their void at wide receiver, but a few obstacles got in the way of that happening. Another obstacle that may have hindered a potential deal between Aiyuk and the Commanders occurred last month when the veteran wide receiver called out Jayden Daniels on social media. Diggs' receiving yards from 2025 would have led the Commanders.
