Our favorite spot is Bimi’s Canteen on Main Street in Chatham, which I’ve previously written about, but this time, we decided to picnic at Art Omi, located at 1405 County Route 22 in Ghent, N.Y. That said, beer, wine, and mocktails are sold at the Art Omi café, featuring local pairings from partners like Chatham Provisions. On weekends from May through September, Art Omi partners with Chatham Provisions to offer salads and sandwiches. When picnicking, please note that Art Omi is a carry-in/carry-out facility, and there are no trash receptacles in the park. Art Omi is truly a magical place.
