Talia Ryder Signs on to ‘Doctor Caligari’s Cabinet of Wonders’Talia Ryder (pictured above in Never Rarely Sometimes Always) is set to join The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari reimagining, Doctor Caligari’s Cabinet of Wonders, reports Variety. She’ll join Michael Shannon (The Shape of Water). In this new version, Shannon stars as the titular villain, Doctor Caligari, a traveling mesmerist who journeys from town to town with a sleepwalker under his control, leaving a trail of grisly murders in their wake. Ryder will play Jane, an intuitive young woman whose ability to perceive what others can’t has left her an outcast. Producing for Anton are Sébastien Raybaud and Brandt Wrightsman, alongside Drew Dowdle for Brothers Dowdle Productions, and Stuart Manashil.
