The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 G8 is available with various display options. The subjective visual impression is good: text and content are displayed sharply, the viewing angles are stable as is typical for IPS panels, and the anti-glare surface is ideal for mobile use. In our measurements, the panel nearly reaches the brightness promised by the manufacturer and, combined with the low black level, offers a decent contrast ratio. The color reproduction is already well-calibrated out of the box but can be improved slightly through calibration. Slight light halos at the edges of the display are visible with dark content, but they are hardly distracting in everyday use.
