The issue was affecting homes and businesses in Diss and surrounding areas.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said: "We're really sorry, but some customers in Diss and the surrounding area may have either very low water pressure or no water at all."
The company was aiming to fully restore supplies by 8pm (August 5) and said it will keep customers updated if anything changes.
The issue came at the same time as parts of the region are under a hosepipe ban, implemented by Anglian Water due to drought and a fourth heatwave of the summer.
Anglian Water was been contacted.
