Μake us preferred on GoogleThe Aktor Group has signed a binding share purchase agreement with Motor Oil Group to acquire a 75% stake in Manetial Ltd., the holding company that wholly owns Helector S.A. and Thalis S.A., reports stated on Wednesday. The agreement gives Aktor an indirect 75% ownership in both companies, accelerating the group’s strategy to expand its presence in the so-called circular economy, waste management and water resources sectors. The transaction also establishes a wider strategic partnership between Aktor and Motor Oil in environmental infrastructure, an area both groups have identified as a key growth market. Helector is one of Greece’s leading waste management operators, specializing in the operation of municipal waste treatment facilities, public-private partnership (PPP) concessions and integrated waste management projects in Greece and abroad. Thalis focuses on the design and construction of environmental infrastructure, including water and wastewater projects and waste management facilities.
