Μake us preferred on GoogleMusic, art, history, and spirituality are the focus of this year’s The Chios Festival, to take place on the island from August 25 to September 4. In its fifth year, the festival brings prominent international speakers to Chios, with the aim of promoting the island and its culture, and serving as a platform for exchange. The 11-day festival is organized by the North Aegean Region and held under the auspices of UNESCO and the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. Festival events will take place at venues across the island, including at Chios Castle, Castelli, Kardamyla, Volissos, Vrontados, Agios Georgios Sykousis, and Anavatos. Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, who will also inaugurate the renovated Church of Agios Georgios.
