A care worker from Lanarkshire has been warned after directing an abusive rant at a colleague during a coach holiday. Gemma Fleming worked for Enable Scotland and was accompanying a co-worker and two supported people on a coach holiday in September 2024. According to the report, while on the coach, Ms Fleming shouted at the colleague “f****** b******” and “who do you think you are telling me what to do?”. A member of the public asked the woman if she was ok, Fleming shouted, “we will sort this when we get off the bus”. On the journey home, inside the coach, Fleming called her woman “fat” and said she could not do her job and claimed that she had hit her.
