In addition to running a business, Crawford served on numerous local boards over several decades. He chaired the Munroe Regional Medical Center Foundation Board and later the AdventHealth Ocala Foundation Board, and served on the University of Mississippi School of Business Advisory Board. In 2025, he was inducted into the university’s Business School Hall of Fame. He was the ultimate Boy Scout.
