The piece, titled “Freedom Riders” (2025), was created by the internationally renowned conceptual artist Jenny Holzer, who is celebrated for her text-based art. The historic masterpiece was selected for the permanent collection by Virginia Shore, curator of the Obama Presidential Center Art Commissions.
