MILFORD — Milford Clerk-Treasuer Tricia Gall predicted a challenging 2026 budget season last year, with rising inflation and cuts at the state level. At a special meeting Tuesday, Aug. 4, Milford’s department leaders went over their proposed budgets for 2027. Many departments saw increased budgets from last year, with several budgets over the department’s expected income for the year. Clerk-TreasurerGall’s proposed budget for 2027 is $456,804, a 2.76% increase from last year, with an overage of $58,815. The next regular Milford Town Council meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10 in the Milford Community Building.
