Margaret Mast, age 98, of Syracuse, passed away at The Waters of Syracuse while surrounded by her family on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026. Margaret lived a long life defined by devotion, simplicity and quiet strength. Margaret is survived by her children, Terry (Pat) Mast, of Syracuse, Larry (Rita) Mast, of Goshen, Sharon (Danny) Richardson, of Syracuse, and Allen (Crystal) Mast, of Ligonier; daughter-in-law, Denise Mast, of New Paris; 21 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 50 great-great-grandchildren. Margaret will be laid to rest at Syracuse Cemetery, 907 N. Mill St., Syracuse. Donations may be given to the Syracuse Eagles, 12889 N.
