EVANSVILLE – All three Posey County commissioners made it clear: if a rezoning request for a data center in the agricultural areas outside Wadesville ever comes before them, they’ll vote no. “We still have had nothing proposed to us as far as a data center. The opposition led to the creation of “Protect Posey County”: a group that boasts nearly 3,000 members on Facebook. The commissioners’ statements on Tuesday don’t mean that a data center can’t be built somewhere else in Posey.
