Scientist and author, Dr. Temple Grandin will present at a luncheon this Friday, Aug. 7 focused on livestock handling, animal behavior, and industry innovation.
Notes Achieve’s Program Director Jill Lowry who arranged to bring Dr. Grandin here, “neurodivergence isn’t a barrier to success — it’s a different kind of brilliance.”
“Her groundbreaking designs for humane livestock handling systems revolutionized the cattle industry and are used on ranches across the country,” added Lowry.
She was the subject of the Primetime Emmy Award- and Golden Globe-winning biographical film Temple Grandin (2010).
Dr. Grandin will deliver a keynote presentation and there will be a screening of the film, Temple Grandin.
