The court also reportedly criticised the state government’s counsel, stating that action taken under Supreme Court directions cannot be diluted through another administrative process. Following earlier Supreme Court directions, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation issued notices and sealed a number of premises found violating land-use rules. These concerns prompted the Supreme Court to review the implementation of its previous orders.
