A Florida menace allegedly hacked his sister with a machete while her 1-year-old daughter slept — and the toddler was later found covered in her mother’s blood. The attack happened early Monday morning in Margate, around 40 miles north of Miami, and the motive still remains unclear. Ruben Altidore, 36, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking his sister with a machete. Altidore allegedly left his sister with a 10-inch wound that pierced her right thigh, coming close to her bone, according to the arrest report. She was also left with a four-inch wound on the back of her right hand, and almost lost several fingers.
