According to PennDOT, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday night, the rolling closures of the Route 422 Shearer Bridge in Butler and Summit Townships will run until 9 p.m. in 15 minute intervals. Drivers will see the closures first westbound then east from the Mitchell Hill exit to the Route 38/Route 68 interchange. Also, PennDOT says that patching on Franklin Road in Cranberry Township will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday as part of the Franklin Road Corridor Safety Improvement Project. Single lane alternating traffic with flaggers will continue through Saturday at 7 p.m. between the intersections of Route 228 and Peters Road.
