Since Red White & Boom was postponed on America's big 250th birthday, many people have been asking when it's going to come back, with speculation being on Labor Day weekend. Now, the Downtown Davenport Partnership has confirmed a new date for Red White & Boom that will coincide with the Alternating Currents festival. Red White & Boom fireworks will be on August 15th at 9:30 p.m. with the great views at Schweibert Park in Rock Island and LeClaire Park in Davenport. On the 15th, the Saturday of Red White & Boom, there will be plenty of activities for the festival going on throughout the day. There will also be plenty of amateur movies to watch, art to enjoy, live music at many venues, and more.
