Debi Reynolds has carried the votes in Carter County to win the Republican nod for county clerk. Reynolds received 68.6% of votes (888) against challenger Martha Gibbs (406). Proposition Keeping Redbird Strong also got a majority of votes, with 52.75% (422) of East Carter School District residents supporting it. Running uncontested in Carter County were Republican candidates: Circuit 36 Circuit Judge Kacey Proctor; Associate Circuit Judge Division, Steven Lynxwiler; Presiding Commissioner Ron Keeney; Circuit Court Clerk Mary Godsy; and Treasurer Velvet Ricker. Running uncontested in Carter County were also Democrat candidates: Prosecuting Attorney Hannah Pender; and Collector of Revenue Lisa Rodgers.
