The Philadelphia 76ers won the offseason by far after landing Jaylen Brown and LeBron James in the month of July without losing Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, or Joel Embiid. 76ers head coach Nick Nurse will have a tall task ahead of him with this new look team, but he believes he's ready for the challenge ahead. “I think he is an offense creator,” Nurse said when asked about the prospect of James playing the point guard position. “I think VJ helped Tyrese with a little bit of not having hte ball the whole game. James signed a two-year deal with the 76ers this summer with a player option for the 2027-28 season, meaning James could very well play 25 seasons in the NBA.
