Nutanix has announced plans to reduce its global workforce by five per cent following a review of its business structure.
In a filing submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nutanix states the workforce reduction is intended to streamline and realign the vendor’s organisational structure, as well as improve operational efficiency and agility and reallocate resources toward strategic priorities and long-term growth objectives.
The ultimate scope, timing, and implementation of the workforce reduction may vary by jurisdiction and remain subject to applicable local law requirements, consultation processes, engagement with employee representative bodies (including works councils where applicable), and other implementation considerations.
