Reddit is giving AI some of the powers of a moderator with a new system that can automatically report or remove posts and comments for breaking subreddit rules. Its existing Automoderator system, commonly called Automod, allows moderators to create rules that trigger when specific keywords or patterns are detected. Reddit has gradually expanded its use of AI in moderation.
