Sami Zayn poked fun at Finn Balor’s reaction to his WWE SummerSlam setback. Zayn responded to Balor’s post on X addressing the disappointment after losing the No.1 contender match at SummerSlam. Zayn’s frustrations were magnified after CM Punk’s return in early July, and ended his barely 10 day Undisputed WWE Championship reign. Adding to his disappointment, on Night Two of SummerSlam, Zayn and Balor were to collide in a No.1 contender match for the title but Gunther and Kevin Owens were added to the lineup at the last-minute. In the end, Owens pinned Zayn, his longtime friend, to proceed in his quest for gold.
