Centered around the theme “A New Chapter Begins,” the annual luncheon celebrated the beginning of each educator’s journey with Tyler ISD and provided resources. Suzette Farr, executive director of Tyler ISD Foundation, said the event demonstrated the community’s commitment to supporting teachers from their first day in the district. The luncheon was established as a way for the Tyler ISD Foundation to partner with Tyler ISD in welcoming new teachers while supporting the district’s recruitment and retention efforts.
