Tim Pope, The Cure's long-time video director, has revealed that working with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein on gothic horror film The Crow: City of Angels left him with "mental scars I bear to this day".
"It was a tricky situation," Pope admits to The Guardian, "but I’d loved [Quentin Tarantino's award-winning Miramax films] Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
This was before we knew about [Harvey Weinstein] wanking into flowerpots and destroying women’s lives.
"He was still seen as ‘good old Harvey’, the most powerful man in Hollywood, but his other nickname was Harvey Scissorhands.
"I hope Harvey Weinstein reads my book" he tells The Guardian.
